Balconagar (Chhattisgarh): Bharat Aluminum Company Limited (BALCO), India’s iconic aluminum producer, received two 2021 CII Energy Conservation (ENCON) awards for best energy management in its power plants. BALCO’s 1200 MW power plant was declared winner of the State – Chhattisgarh with a 4.75-star certificate, and the 540 MW power plant also achieved a 4.25-star certificate in a large-scale category. .
