Mangaluru April 17: As part of Oil and Gas Conservation Month, Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) hosted the Saksham Cyclothon on Sunday 17th April.
The cyclothon was launched at Mangala Stadium.
The cyclists started pedaling from Mangala Stadium, passed through Ladyhill – Urwa Store – Infosys (U-turn) to Urwa Store – Ladyhill – and stopped at Canara High School Ground.
The cyclothon was followed by a street performance on energy conservation.
Chief General Manager, Technical Services, MRPL, Sudhir Pai, said, “We are emphasizing energy conservation because oil and gas are very valuable and it is necessary to conserve energy to the future generation. We educate the public about energy conservation. .
Executive Director, Project, MRPL, BHV Prasad, Group General Manager, Technical Services, Shyam Prasad Kamath, Group General Manager HR Krishna Hegde and others were present.
